Recently retired after 41 years with the Minnesota State Forestry Department, I have been building Birch Bark Canoes on a part time basis since 1968. I build one or two each summer in all styles and ranging from 5 ft. to 18 ft. in length. I take my orders on a first come, first serve basis.
